Dual

Dual was born after a long silence, used to re-think and re-program my creativity. It has a double personality: a piano duet versus a cello duet, where the traces of my avant-garde contemporary experience meet a new lyrical and imaginative kind of music. When I play an acoustic instrument I often use delay and acoustic processing with the aim of emulating an electronic sound. The piano in some pieces has been played with extended techniques — bows, strings, soft felt — to obtain a new kind of piano sound.
